What is my IP?

18.97.9.173

We have prepared this site to make your life easier when you need to know or when someone asks you for your public IP address on the internet.

It is common to need to know your current browsing IP address, either to inform your provider to investigate an issue you are having or to inform a friend or technician for remote access to your computer.

Within an internal network, we have two types of IPs, public and private. The most common setup is to have an Internet router that provides internet via cable and Wi-Fi, connecting computers, phones, and tablets to access the internet.

This router will provide private IP addresses for each device connected to the same network, ensuring no conflicts in internet navigation. To find your private IP address, it’s very simple. You just need to open the DOS command prompt by typing "cmd" in the Windows run option, and in the DOS screen that opens, type "ipconfig".

This command will return a result with several lines, with your IP address in the "IPv4 address" column, which usually starts with 192.168.

However, this is not the IP address someone wants to know when they ask for this information. What they actually need is your public IP address, which you are using to browse the internet at this moment.

Generally, your public IP address is dynamic, meaning it will change every time (or most times) you disconnect from and reconnect to the internet. This dynamic change does not occur if you have a dedicated IP plan with your provider. In that case, you could even note down your IP address as it will never change, and you will always have it ready when someone asks.

If this is not your case or if you still don’t know your IP, this is not a problem either. There are several websites on the internet that provide your current IP address; you just need to access them, and the information is displayed right away.

Brazilian public IP addresses usually start with 200, 201, 189, 187, 179, etc. Other ranges are provided when the limit is reached, and they can grow significantly, but generally, they will be close to this range, and you can find out just by visiting our site.

Why meuip.page?

We are committed to providing your current browsing IP address without any interference caused by caching. For this reason, we ensure that the IP information is provided with header instructions not to store cache from another connection, preventing the provided IP address from being one consulted in a previous access made by your own computer or worse, through another user’s computer that cached the IP address from your provider.

Additionally, we offer the information right before the page break begins or without requiring a click or any other action from the user to display the IP information, avoiding the waste of time and unwanted actions that other IP information sites might try to execute. In short, we go straight to the point, offering the information you want right at the top of the screen.

The meuip.page site is protected by the SSL protocol, with a valid certificate compatible with all browsers (from the oldest models to the most recent ones), being one of the few that offer your IP address information via HTTPS, which has become the standard protocol for internet navigation in search of security in browsing and information transfer.

Moreover, considering the ease of your navigation whether through a desktop computer or a mobile device such as a phone or tablet, meuip.page is responsive and compatible with all devices, as well as being designed to be extremely lightweight and fast to load (you consume almost none of your internet data accessing the IP information).
